Salt Lake City
We really enjoyed our week with Katie and Richie in their new home.
We went for coffee at least once a day; of course, plenty of Starbucks, but also trying fun local places, like Jack Mormon's, where they make nitro brewed coffee!
This is the only food picture I'll post, so as not to be redundant, but suffice it to say that we put a lot of effort into trying fun and different things at every opportunity.
We even went to Food Truck Thursday and tried Korean Barbecue!
A highlight of our visit was the days we spent in service.
We had a couple of opportunities to do Croatian search work, which was fun.
The English congregation that hosts their Croatian group was being reshuffled the week we were visiting. So Thursday night was their final meeting together, and Addison and I took some group photos and enjoyed cake and coffee!
Spades, as always!
On Friday, Katie took me to get my hair done and do a little shopping.
When we got back, our husbands were wearing weird matching outfits . . . (?)
Saturday morning Croatian field service group
The Salt Lake City Public Library,
which I will probably dream about from now on :)
We got to know Tanja, a sister in the group, a little bit.
Doesn't it look like she and Katie share a closet??
With our matching cups that we have coffee "together" with in the mornings,
thanks to picture messages.
We miss them already, but are so glad that we got the opportunity to have such a great visit!
Love you, mean it
