September 2025

A really nice start to the new service year

Merlyn & Justin had us over for dinner soon after moving into the congregation

The McDowells shared some of the gifts they received at the international convention in Africa

A group visiting from Columbus took care of our Thursday meeting parts

A service break at Food City

Sunday meeting

It was so nice to spend time with Lexi, who I grew up with

Cynthia was visiting, and she & Tamara made us authentic Honduran baleadas for our 18th anniversary

To show appreciation for all he does, the Blicharzes hosted a gathering for Jeff. It was nice to put the focus on him for once, as he’s usually working hard in the background for every other event or gathering. They chose September 20th, which would have been his & Linda’s 50th anniversary.

Melissa & Bev, his sweetheart daughters-in-law

It’s hard to make out, but the banner has a beehive, a Bible, a plate of country cookin’ and a toolbox on it

A delicious new bakery near the Hall.
It’s only open on Fridays, so most of the car groups end up there at some point that day.

At the Sunday meeting, one of the brothers from a visiting group from Oregon gave the talk

Tara organized a really delicious lunch

The Oregon group visited for a whole week! So we got to know them well and spend a lot of time together in the ministry.

This was a really fun morning; we worked “Pistol City” and started multiple Bible studies. The sister on the right was named Addison, so we referred to her as “girl Addison” all week to differentiate.

Lunch at the park

A cookout at the amphitheater, playing games

It was a really enjoyable week!

And a Bocce pic for good measure
