Recently,
a letter was returned that I had sent to a Bible student at a nearby rehab. I was puzzled, because I had double checked the address and knew that the woman was still at the center. Cherie, who visits the rehab regularly, showed the envelope at the front desk to see what might have been the problem...
The address was correct, the letter was received. But I had written the student's name in cursive, apparently making it illegible. Unable to read the recipient's name, they just sent it back. The advice they gave Cherie was that I resend it with all the same information, but "don't make it fancy."
It's just too funny to even get upset about!
