Powell Valley was beautiful Tuesday morning
Livvy came over, and the girls hunted for crawdads in our creek
They also had a water balloon fight
On Wednesday, we went to the Everidges for their study.
Mckenna sat in, and in this picture, she is explaining to Addison
the reasons why she no longer salutes the flag at school.
All four kids have decided the same.
They read about the flag salute in the Learn From the Great Teacher book
and decided on their own to take a stop participating.
Three have each faced opposition from schoolmates and
even a teacher about it, but they are resolved!
We didn't teach them about it directly, so to hear the ripple effect
that the truth is having on their young hearts is so amazing!

After service, Bella tried her hand at crawdad hunting again.
This time she caught four!
Saturday morning, we enjoyed the Spanish meeting.
The brothers had decided to adjust the time so as to cater to the schedules
of the many restaurant employees who have shown interest.
Brother Romero, from Ohio, gave a beautiful talk.
Brother Treiweiler, who served in Ecuador for many years,
conducted the Watchtower study
And Ryan read the paragraphs in Spanish!
He did great!

After the meeting, we had a picnic at Pound Lake
In the afternoon, I was busy with housework.
Bella offered to help, and when she said she didn't yet know how to clean a bathroom,
we got right down to Toilet Cleaning 101.
We also did a refresher course on Laundry Basics. :) :) :)
In the evening, pizzas hot off the grill at the Bernards'
