This adorable little old lady, Cecil, invited Ryan and Leila to have a seat on the porch to chat.
But first, she had Ryan replace all of the furniture's cushions, which she'd taken inside.
It was funny to watch :)

Candy and Jerry talking to Harrison, who is always hilarious.
He calls me "Snooki's cousin"
(pronounced snewwww-key)

Jerry calls this his "thousand dollar tie pin" because,
at the time, the crown cost him $1,000 at the dentist . . .
When it fell out, he found a way to re-purpose it,
as he explained to one good-humored householder that morning.

I couldn't make this stuff up!

Back to letter writing, with a chai latte!

Thursday evening, we had the wonderful announcement that Jenkins has two new ministerial servants - Justin and Sean.
The applause was so long, we actually started laughing a little!
And then, after the concluding prayer, there was more spontaneous applause (definitely a first!)
and a crowd around the two to congratulate them. It really, really feels like a family at Jenkins.
And when we get to watch young brothers move in, progress, and then reach out to do even more,
everyone is so proud and happy!

Sean's wife, Dejae, was completely surprised by the announcement.
She had the sweetest reaction of happy tears afterward!

Proud of our "little" brother

Dinner on the porch

Sunday, the Brattons came from Meadowview and Skylar gave the talk.
Afterward, we had lunch and got to catch up.

Addi serves as chairman sometimes at the Spanish meeting,
so after lunch he asked our waiter (and amigo) Melvin to proofread his script.

He did great!

Jose, who lives in Jenkins.
He's been to every Spanish meeting so far!

Tara's friends, Shelly and Jonathon, were visiting for the weekend.
Jonathon gave a wonderful talk in Spanish, then read the Watchtower.
We're so grateful for the brothers who travel long distances to help out with the pre group.

Jeshua always steals my head covering ... :)

Reda treated me to lunch at Romano's earlier this week.
We finished off with delicious cannolis that they make from scratch!

I wanted to take this puppy home with me ... she had one blue and one brown eye
