Bella's Visit/ Group from Maryland
Last Saturday, Bella came!
Here we are at the Sunday meeting.
That night, Amber hosted a slumber party at her place!
We had a great time with her, Candace, Olivia and Dejae.
First item on the to-do list: make cupcakes!
While they baked, we did makeup

How Baby gets around
Bella's visit overlapped with the visit of a group from Maryland .
They stayed all week to do Jenkins seldom-worked territory.
Our dear friends the Magees led the group down, and some of the friends were ones who have visited previous summers. It was great to get to catch up with all of them!
The young guys in the group played a lot of basketball up at the rec center with brothers from our hall.
Friends from the group did the entire Thursday night meeting for us!
In this part, Vern Magee interviewed his wife, Michelle, and another sister about auxiliary pioneering.
Bella loves, loves, loves her friend Amber
We started "To Kill A Mockingbrid" together...
We plan to finish it over the phone.
Some of the crafts we worked on throughout the week
Hip Hop in matching shirts!
Pixie milkshakes
Friday evening, we had the group over for a little volleyball
The kids had fun with sparklers after the sun set.
Saturday morning, headed out into the ministry together.
It was our last day with Bella . . . we had such a wonderful week together!
Vern gave the talk on Sunday.
It was excellent! The theme was, "How Real Is God to You?"
We had 63 at the meeting - it felt like a Memorial!
Chicken and dumplings, cornbread fritters, deep fried peppers, corn and beans from the garden . . .
I didn't even get a photo of the dessert table!
The Maryland group.
There were many other friends in the group who had to leave before Sunday,
so they're unfortunately missing from the photo. But everyone's hard work was so appreciated!
We just love the Magees!
We're sure you'll be back again next summer . . . but we hope to see you before then!
Thanks so much for getting such a wonderful group of friends organized to come down and work with us!
