Over the past ten days, we've been on a road trip to New York, Boston and Ohio.
Normally, we only post photos of things that happen down here,
but because a few friends requested, we decided to share some of the spiritual highlights of our trip.

On Sunday, we went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and did "The Woman and the Seed" Bible tour.
It was amazing to see artifacts which harmonize with Bible history.
Below are photos of just a few of the interesting pieces we learned about.
An ancient Egyptian slave
Gold articles from ancient Egypt
King Tut
Signet rings, like the one Joseph received from Pharoah
Statues of Sakhmet, Egyptian goddess of destruction
The inscription on this jar states that it belonged to King Xerxes.
He was the Persian king who chose Esther as his queen.
This jar contained Dead Sea Scrolls
This plaque was part of the Ishtar Gate in Babylon -
the very gate that Daniel and his three Hebrew companions would have walked through.
(Refer to the picture in the Daniel's Prophecy book, page 11)
Depicted on the plaque is the dragon god Marduk,
the chief deity of Babylon and believed to be the deified Nimrod.
Statues of Baal
A bowl belonging to King Darius
An ancient Medo-Persian cup used by the cupbearer to the king, like Nehemiah
After the tour, we saw a few more sights in the city
The next stop on our trip was Boston, to visit Elisa and Tamara.
We had a great time catching up with them for a couple of days.
