The Sizemore family came from Ohio for July's Spanish meeting.
Tara and Roberto were able to visit, too.
Two groups went out in the Spanish ministry Saturday morning.

Brother Sizemore gave the talk

Roberto read the Watchtower and Marcos conducted the lesson.
It's so encouraging that friends are willing to travel to help out at our Spanish meetings each month.

Calvin's family was also visiting for the weekend

We all went to the Thirsty Heifer and Leila waited on our table

Thursday evening, Jeff gave his first talk.
It was excellent.

We had a really cool local needs part last week.
Addison shared some statistics that emphasize the need we still have in our territory.
Our local ratio of publishers to population is 1:533 - partially due to the fact
that our territory is seldom worked and we are bordered on 3 sides by unassigned.
By comparison, many places have a much lower country wide ratio -
not only the US but also countries like Korea, Bolivia, and Honduras.
In fact, Ecuador and Mexico have a ratio 3 times higher than our local area.
So despite the encouraging number of friends who have moved in to help, our area is still widely untouched and the congregations in our neck of the woods still need a lot of assistance in the ministry. He then offered some helpful suggestions for those of us who are here to make the best use of our time in making disciples. It was motivating and refreshing to see things from a different angle, and made clear that Appalachia still has much fruit to bear!

Wesley was interviewed Thursday about the kids' creation video
