A couple weeks ago, the Everidges had us over for dinner before their Bible study.
It was delicious, and really nice to have a little extra time to catch up.

They're in the process of making blueberry wine

On Saturday, we headed to the premier of a documentary
that Tre has been working hard on all summer.
It was called, "Pickin and Scratchin"
and it discussed the diversity of music in the Appalachian region.

A fire afterward at the Bernards

The weekend's visitors, Andrew and Aaron

Last week, Pioneer Service School

Our second time around, and since we have the same last name this time,
we got to sit next to each other! :)

Our host family had the most beautiful porch where we did our studying in the evening

New to the curriculum were the workshops. Addison and I each participated in three . . .
Here is Addison's soliloquy on Tuesday afternoon.

Waiting at our desks one morning :) :)

Addison takes his gigantic KJV everywhere - even to class!

Our wonderful host family - Sandra & Gary Gay - who we called our "pioneer school parents."
They spoiled us all week!

We enjoyed being in class with Regina and Albert Davis, recent graduates of the SKE.

After the last day of class, our c.o. and his wife had an ice cream party.

We enjoyed dinner that night in Johnson City with Caleb and Kerina

After school, Albert and Regina came to Jenkins for a few days.
Albert gave the talk on Sunday morning and they came with us
to the Slones study on Monday evening. It was great to spend more time with them!
