On a whim the night before, we decided we'd start service early on Wednesday morning.
We've only done early morning a handful of times in the years that we've lived here,
so I was anxious to see how it would go. We ended up with two Bible studies!
At the second stop we made, Amber spoke with a woman working at a gas station.
The woman already had the Bible Teach book, and agreed to restart her Bible study with Amber.
So Amber's going back to the gas station Sunday - at 5 am! - to study with her.
Two stops later, Addison went into Dollar General with a Truth tract.
After a few minutes, he came out to the car and said to me, "Do you want a really good Bible study?"
with his big "Addison" smile.
So I went in and met Ashley, a young mom who wants answers to her questions about God and the Bible.
She took the Bible Teach book, and we made plans to have a study next Tuesday at her home.

Not only was our early morning service productive, but it was a lot of fun.
We realized that it's a "ripe field" and we plan to work in it more regularly.

After service, we went to Bristol to meet Ross and Lindsey for lunch.
They were all packed up in the moving truck, headed from Tennessee to New Hampshire to begin their assignment as special pioneers in the Swahili group there.
It was so nice to spend a little more time with them before their new adventure begins.
