We recently got to spend some time with our friends Tully & Dawn at their house in Lebanon, VA.

They were such good hosts . . . it felt like a mini vacation!

They made some dough and we all put together our own little pizza for dinner.

Not sure why Addi is wearing his dinner napkin like that . . .  :)

Dawn will be the first to tell you she's not a cat person -

but a pregnant stray found her way to their back door & soon had adorable kittens! 

The evening was super relaxing, with a bonfire and some star gazing. 

Theirs is the perfect place to see shooting stars!

The next day started ideally, with good coffee and a little Today Show.

After a nice, big breakfast, the guys went on a ride. 

Then they took us to Abingdon, 

which reminded me of uptown Westerville, but older and a little bigger.

The left side is a gallery, and the right is an olive oil company. 

We'd never done an olive oil tasting, but were surprised at just how fun it was.

There were also plenty of tasty balsamic vinegars to try. 

We had such a great time and are looking forward to our next visit!
