Friday evening, we jumped in Bridget's old pickup truck 

and went to see some of the animals that live in a nearby holler.

We were especially hoping to spot the lone buffalo that we'd heard roams at the head of the holler.

 Addi spotted a Barred Owl in the trees

The loooong road in the holler was so curvy 

 In the last moments of our trip, the buffalo made an appearance!
