This weekend we were in Corbin, Kentucky for another R.B.C. project.

Serving food to the 200 construction volunteers

Addison on dish duty!

Bill and Iona Sims opened their home to us for the weekend. They moved to Corbin in 1968 to help with the preaching work. Iona, seated on the right, is a long time musician -
and although she's almost 80, she still organizes groups of the friends to get together and play rock and roll.
She raised her family to love and enjoy music, and some of them are very talented.
We got to meet her grandson Brett - a fantastic guitar player. He and Addison had a chance to play together, to Iona's delight.

Our new friends, Tony and Amy Arnett.
We met them on the last project in Paintsville.

On Saturday evening we got to spend some time with them at their house,
which was close to the hall being remodeled.

Picking strawberries from their garden

Playing Minute to Win It games - which are actually very hard!
I don't think any of us were able to do this one, though Tony got pretty close.
Afterward we went out for milkshakes.
